NLP is a behavioral science that provides:

1. An Epistemology— A system of knowledge and values
2. A Methodology—Processes and procedures for applying knowledge and values
3. A Technology—Tools to aid in the application of knowledge and values. NLP contains a set of principles and distinctions which are uniquely suited to analyze and identify crucial patterns of values, cognitive processes, behavior, and their interrelationships, so that they may be put into pragmatic and testable implementations.
